Visit with Cousin Karlee

So this past Sunday we went to visit Jason's cousin, Ben and his wife, Tiffany and their little girl Karlee. She was born about 3 weeks before Cameron. You can't tell that though when the are side by side, because Cameron is so big for his age and she is a petite little girl.

He kept pulling on her dress trying to get past her to the toy.

Enjoying warm Days !!

So Cameron loves being outside in his wagon. On warm days I have been taking him in his wagon to go get the mail and to walk around the front yard. We also take Cooper with us, because Cameron loves Cooper. He will watch him walk around the yard. Cameron loves to look over the side of the wagon and watch the ground go by while I'm pulling him. He likes to look at his shadow too.
He is such a happy little guy.

I can tell he is going to want to spend his time outside this summer, which is fine with me. I am really looking forward to being able to do things outside this summer, since I am no longer working and don't have to worry about my schedule. We are also hoping we will be able to entertain friends and family more this summer too.
I can't wait for the weather to turn warm and stay that way. Hopefully it will just be another week or two and then off goes the heat and up goes the windows.

Solid Foods, Yeah!!!

So he had his first solid food today (I don't really count cereal because it's really mostly milk) Green Beans and he loved them. He of course gave a funny look at his first bite, but after that he really couldn't get enough of them.

He really did enjoy them, he ate 1/3 of the jar and probably could have eaten more.

So after the green beans we gave him squash, he ate that really well too without any complaints. He really tries to help us with the spoon too, but it usually just helps get whatever it is up his nose. He doesn't seem to mind that, until I have to clean his nose after he's done.

Then came carrots, he really liked them as well.
We started applesauce today, of course he liked it too. I think he is going to be a great eater, just like his Daddy. Hopefully I can prevent him from being a picky eater like his Momma. He is growing up too quick.

6 Month Appointment

I realize that his 6 month appointment was a couple of weeks ago, but I haven't had a good opportunity to post since then. He weighed 19 lbs. 9 oz. (75th percentile) and was 26 3/4 inches tall (50th percentile). He did very well with his shots again. He cried more when I had to put him down afterwards to get him dressed than he did getting the shots themselves. Having such chunky thighs helps take the sting away I guess.

We have started him on oatmeal cereal, with the same results as before. He is waking up every 4 hours at night to eat too. I don't understand why the cereal makes him do that, but needless to say we stopped the cereal for now.

New Teeth

So Cameron got his 3rd and 4th tooth last Sunday. His top two on each side of where his middle teeth are going to be. His top two middle teeth I think are going to be coming in soon. The gums are white right there. I was checking them today and feeling around the rest of his gums and low and behold he has a tooth in on the right side of his bottom two teeth. So he has 5 teeth now. He will probably have his top two in another week or so.

Splish, Splash

Cameron really enjoys bath time now. He splashes like crazy sending water everywhere. I think Cooper is the only one that minds getting splashed.

Waiting patiently in his chair for us to read to him after his bath.

Okay he got a little inpatient after a couple of pictures.

Some New Pictures

My little cutie, in his cute little flannel shirt.

He was helping clean the floor. He does very well crawling backwards. It will not be long before he figures out he can go forwards, then I will be in trouble.

Cameron's New ball

Both of my boys were waiting for a chip from Daddy.

Cameron's First Snow

He was really patient with us while we were getting him bundled up to go out in his first "real" snow (we had some snow earlier this year but nothing really worth calling snow).

I know what you're thinking "The Christmas Story", right??
Well we just wanted to make sure he was bundled up good.

We enjoyed the snow!!!

You can't really tell but the snow is pretty deep.
